Treppe 41 invites people to present their favorite movies. Following the screening, the open film club provides drinks and opportunities for conversation.
In November, the Film Club will screen Orson Welles’ “F FOR FAKE” to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its premiere.

Orson Welles‘ Porträt der Betrüger Elmyr de Hory und Clifford Irving bewegt sich poetisch-verspielt zwischen Dokumentarfilm und Mockumentary, wird zur Grundlage für Reflexionen zu Kunst, Dichtung und Wahrheit wie auch der eigenen Legende. F FOR FAKE ist das letzte Filmprojekt, das Welles zu Lebzeiten fertigstellte, und ein Meilenstein des Essayfilms. Die Vorführung findet zur Feier des 50. Jubiläums der Uraufführung statt.
