24th goEast – Festival of Central and Eastern European Film

April 24 -30 in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt

Following the annual festival tradition, goEast will once again showcase both contemporary film art and historical programs from Central and Eastern Europe in 2024. Sixteen feature-length fiction and documentary films will compete for the coveted prizes. The symposium will focus on queer cinema from Central and Eastern Europe, past, present, and future, and is part of the Cinema Archipelago section: Titled “Un:recognized,” it gives voice to the often overlooked voices of the region – and an audience.

The full program of the 24th goEast will soon be available on the festival’s website. General ticket sales begin on April 4th.
